Kydex® HDL™ – Level III is an OWB holster made of Kydex sheets formed in a unique and proprietary pressing process, which makes them rugged and reliable, as well as water and chemical-resistant.
This holster has a Head Locking Retention System (HDLTM) – In addition to molded Kydex’s adjustable turnbuckle, the HDLTM (Head Locking) system provides a Class II fixation, making it a fully fixed ​Designated Class III holster.
To draw the weapon, slide the head cover forward and press the lock button. In a double action, the HDL retention system springs forward automatically, releasing the weapon for a smooth and efficient pull. The low ride plate features a channel for adjusting holster height by sliding it along the tunnel and securing it with two screws at the desired height. The low ride contains two inserts that match the belt width.
